Cedrice Davis & James Mansfield

Star: Cedrice Davis

Dr. Cedrice Davis was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her undergraduate degree at Howard University in Washington D.C., and received her M.D. from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After completing her Family Practice Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, she joined Urban Family Practice in the summer of 2000.

She is an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the Department of Community Health and Preventative Medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine. She actively serves Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, and is a board member.

Dr. Davis' interest in medical research has led to the development of the research department at Urban Family Practice. She has been the principle investigator on many of the clinical studies.

Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with her son, Brandon and nephew, London.

Instructor: James Mansfield

James Mansfield is a passionate movement artist. He has danced for seven years in hip hop, Memphis jookin, and ballet, with an overall dance style of elegance and control. Throughout his dance journey, he has performed in and choreographed for multiple Vanderbilt showcases of 1,000+ member audiences, founded an eight-person hip hop dance crew, and performed original solo pieces for church and dance competitions. Currently, he is a member of Georgia Tech's Impact ATL dance team and studies dance choreography under Bridget Bailey of Bridget Bailey Dance Company. He is excited to give back to his community with DWTS of Cobb and looks forward to the upcoming performance.
