Instructor: Stephan Green
Stephan Green, originally from Cuba, Alabama, moved to metro Atlanta to learn Spanish when he was 7 years old. Recently, he listened to his heart and pursued his passion to become a professional dancer. Stephan began ballroom dancing in March 2019 and has fallen in love with the art. During his tenure at Alabama State University, he served as the captain of the co-ed cheerleading team. Stephan was also involved in the marching band, as well as the Student Government Association, serving as the first Communications Director. Stephan performs with The Ballroom Institute in Marietta.
Once Stephan became more knowledgeable about DWTS of LovingArms, he was all in. Stephan lost his grandfather to cancer in January 2019, and after taking one of his family members to her chemotherapy treatments, he saw how strong the survivors were and it made him realize to never take life for granted. Stephan performs in honor of various cancer survivors throughout his family and the memory of those who he has lost.
